Default Newbie question about Henchmen

My husband and I are thinking about buying GuildWars. I had a question... If we are working on a mission together, and other real-life people are not available, will we be able to hire henchmen to round out our party, or is that only an option for solo players?

Thank you in advance for your help.

henchmen may be used to fill out your party regardless of the amount of human players in your party.

Yes, you can add henchmen to your party any time, as long as there's a free space. For example, in the starting areas, where party size is limited to four, you and your husband could add two henchies to their party. Henchies are often used by groups of real-life people if they can't find someone to fill that last slot in a 7/8 party, or if they can't find a real monk, etc. ^^

As tyjeff9 said, Henchmen are there to use as you feel that you need them. They cost nothing to use (except maybe less drops for you and your husband), and don't complain when someone does something stupid.

Mega Mouse

Also they are available 24 hours all the time. they never leave and can be used in almost all areas of the game.

If you want to buy Guild Wars, I would suggest Guild Wars: Nightfall. This chapter has a spiffy new type of henchmen; Heroes! These are basically henchmen but you get to choose their builds and weapons and such!

Anyways, if you do buy Guild Wars, get either Prophecies or Nightfall, because Factions sucked....

Just as a note, not all other people will be fun to team up with, so don't feel bad about taking henchmen and heroes over other people. Also, you could probably find a few people from these forums to play with you.
